15 July 2013 – Update on filing and paying HMRC

This is an update from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC’s) on earlier messages about the PAYE filing and payment position for employers reporting PAYE in real time as July 2013 is the month when:

  • employers who pay HMRC quarterly will make their first payment for 2013/14; and
  • the Class 1A NICs payment (as per the form P11D information for 2012/13) is due.

15 July 2013 – RTI and hours worked

A reminder from HMRC for employers of the importance of accurately recording the banding of hours worked into which employees fall to be reported on each Full Payment Submission (“FPS”) submitted for PAYE reporting purposes under RTI.

19 July 2013 – PAYE for employers: Harvest casuals and reporting PAYE in real time

A statement from HMRC urging employers who employ harvest casual workers to review their payroll and real time reporting processes based on the HMRC requirements specified in this announcement.
